Five months back my husband and I were one a verge of a divorce. It had been 3 years of silence between us. I was exhausted, I was tired and I was done with this marraige. In August 2023 we decided to give our marraige 3 months more and made a promise to ourselves that we will work on it for the sake of the kids..

Five months back I discovered Parull Diwan on YouTube. I was exploring videos on Ho’oponopono and she popped up in my feed. After reading about her I got to know that she is a Relationship Coach and a Ho’oponopono facilatator. I did her Masterclass from her website and everything she spoke about marraige, about the exhaustion you feel when a marraige starts failing and how you start to feel dejected and rejected .. I related with every emotion she brought forward and on a whim I decided to connect with her.

My 5 month with her was such an eye opener. I went on a journey with my own self and discovered so much about me. I learnt that the only way out of chaos and clutter and stress is to go within and discover yourself. I learnt how people in our lives are our best teachers and they are here to help us grow and how we can come from a space of gratutide for them instead of coming from a space of hatred towards them. I learnt to be compassionate, loving and empathetic towards myself and towards others. I learnt different ways I was going wrong with my husband and why he was rejecting me, why he was hurting me. I learnt so much about myself in these 5 months than I have learnt in all these years. I felt like I went on a journey with my soul - the self reflection, the healing was profund and the why’s and the how’s all got answered ..

My husband and I have come a long way .. a couple which was in complete silence for 3 continous years and struggling with endless fights for the past 11 years - now we talk with each other, we pull each others leg, we are slowly learning to share our struggles, we help each other. I have seen both of us becoming so much more caring and affectionate towards each other. We have fun with each other, and we have started to do things which we use to do when we were dating .. All of this happened not because he went for couselling with me which most of us urge our spouses to do. The change in my marraige happened because I chose to go on an inner journey with myself. When my inner world changed, I saw immense change in my outer world and not just with my husband but with my inlaws, my parents, and my other realtionships too.

I want to take this space and say a healthfelt thank you to Parull for helping me finding myself and changing my inner world … the natural consequence of that was the joy I found in my outer world. Thank you Parull. Your contribution has been a wonderful gift !
